Learning Resource Center

For those areas in learning which need a little extra help, the library's Learning Resource Center may just be what the teacher ordered. Located in the children's area by the front desk, the center is also a great resource for home-schooling. Begun in 1997 with the support of the Upper Sandusky Emblem Club #536, it was established to provide resources that are useful in aiding children in basic study of Reading, Math, English, and Science. The collection is constantly being updated. The Center's materials circulate not only among the Upper Sandusky community, but throughout the Serving Every Ohioan Library Consortium.

The collection includes:

  • Books
  • Books on CD
  • Magazines
  • Boxed sets of materials including phonics, reading, and math.
