The Common Reader book discussion group will be reading Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive by Stephanie Land for its September meeting. The group will meet from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, at the big gazebo at Stepping Stones park. Open Door Resource Center will serve as a secondary location in event of inclement weather.
Common Readers meets at 6:30 p.m. on the third Tuesday of every month. Readers can join the group for one, several or all of the meetings. The remaining 2020 schedule is as follows: Maid: Hard Work, Low Pay, and a Mother’s Will to Survive by Stephanie Land for September 15; Flight of the Sparrow by Amy Belding Brown for October 20; and A Piece of the World by Christina Baker Kline for November 17. There is not a meeting in December. The title for each month will be available at the Upper Sandusky Community Library in a variety of formats.
