Homebound Delivery

The Upper Sandusky Community Library is committed to providing library materials and information to all residents in its service area. Part of that responsibility includes delivery of library materials to patrons who are unable to visit the library due to illness, disability, or lack of transportation.

Taryn Korody honors this commitment through her administration of the USCL Homebound Delivery program. This service allows materials to be brought directly to the patron's door by simply completing a Homebound Program Preference Form, which can be downloaded or picked up at the library's front desk. Using the Preference Form, Taryn personally selects books for each participant and bags them up for delivery. Homebound services are provided on a temporary or permanent basis, depending on the person's need, and may be discontinued or modified for any reason.

Homebound volunteers provide delivery service on a two-week schedule, though patrons are able to modify this service to fit their particular needs. Fines are never charged for materials checked out through this program, so patrons can borrow with confidence.

As needs change, USCL is devoted to ensure the community has access to the books and materials they love.
